The Nature Conservation Center at the American University of Beirut (AUB-NCC) and the Health and Wellness Center at AUBMC, would like to invite you to the Regional Integrative Health Forum: Holistic Remedies meet Modern Day Medicine taking place on February 3, 2017 at AUB West Hall.
The Integrative Health (IH) approach is an emerging practice that takes account of the whole person (body, mind and spirit) including all aspects of lifestyle. It combines mainstream medical therapies and complementary therapies for which there is scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness.
Integrative Health has become an integral part of the Western healthcare sector, but has yet to be adopted in our region. Being an impactful leader in the region, AUB, through the forum on February 3rd, creates a platform for discussion on how to further develop and bridge research, clinical, policy, and educational components of IH.
Please join our speakers, Dr. Stephan Sagar. Dr. Michael Wink, Dr. Peter Fisher, and us on this informative and engaging day.
We look forward to seeing you.
