We are pleased to announce the launch of #IBDAA2017, AUB’s annual poster forum happening on April 27th, 2017 at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business!
Who we are.
IBDAA, or the International Biodiversity Day at AUB, is organized by the Nature Conservation Center to celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB). Now in its 11th cycle, the event gives AUB students the opportunity to present their demonstrations, models, posters, and research findings and gain valuable feedback and expertise in the field of idea conception, development, and execution.
This year’s theme is "Sustainable Solutions to Our Environmental Challenges", which aims to refocus the conversation on the region’s ecological needs. Students’ projects fall under one of these five categories: Arts & Humanities, Business Plan, Product Development, Research, Improved Energy Efficiency and Renewable Resources.
We are proud to announce that over 270 participants will attend this year’s event! This is an invaluable opportunity for undergraduates and graduates to gain entrepreneurial experience and share their innovative ideas with experts and the wider academic community.
Let’s not forget, students will compete for a chance to win up to $2000 in prize money, courtesy of Jammal Trust Bank Eco-Innovation Awards and the Munib and Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources!
