Mission Statement

The Graduate Public Health Program at FHS provides advanced training in public health to prepare professionals, both practitioners and academicians, who can competently assess, research, and respond to health needs and current public health issues in Lebanon and the region. The Program promotes multidisciplinary and community based research as well as community service as means to improve instruction, advance knowledge, and address public health issues and needs of relevance to the population served.

The Graduate Public Health Program (GPHP) at FHS is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).

The GPHP received accreditation by CEPH in October 2006 and was reaccredited in 2011 for 7 years.
