MEMORIES OF RAS BEIRUT: Wish You Were Here

Written and directed by Mahmoud Hojeij, “Memories of Ras Beirut: Wish you were Here,” offers a retrospective look at the neighborhood from some of its well-known and not so well-know residents, among them Samir Khalaf, Victor Shibli, Nabil Ashkar, Mounir Shamaa, Kamal Rubeiz, Ibrahim Takkoush, Philip Safar, Leila Shahean da Cruz, Saadeddine Dabbous, Samir Makdissi, Leila Shahid, and Kamal Salibi. The 45 minute documentary was funded by the European Union and undertaken in collaboration with the Center for Behavioral Research, AUB.
