Invitation to AUB Alumni to share their career success as role models to our students 

The Career and Placement Services(CPS) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) provides guidance and resources to students and AUB graduates for their life-long career development by facilitating their exploration of career options and development of effective career and life planning skills.

 Our aim is to further enhance our mission by constructing a new feature on the CPS website for our AUB alumni, to motivate and inspire current AUB students from all departments to pursue their desired careers, internships, or graduate school positions. The new feature will display success stories and achievements of AUB alumni from various majors. We want to demonstrate to the student body that being in any specific major does not restrict a person’s goals as; there are many ways to achieve a position that best suits their aspirations. If you believe you can be an inspirational role model for registered AUB students, kindly send your career success story, which may be posted on the CPS website. Your career story should be no more than a brief paragraph; about 100 words.

 As successful career leaders, we would like to invite you to be involved in our workshops to give motivational speeches about the opportunities and success stories in your fields of expertise. This will further motivate and inspire AUB students to pursue their desired career paths. Since AUB Alumni are the prime role models for AUB students, your help in fulfilling this motivational project would be greatly appreciated.
