Revised Calendar for "Graduate Students in the Faculty of Medicine" and "Med. I Students" Registration 2006- 2007

1. Classes will start on Monday August 28, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. Classes will be held in the Medicine I classroom (B-11 Lecture Hall) in the DTS-Basic Science Building.
   
   
2. Pre-registration will take place on Tuesday August 22, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Admissions Office, College Hall. Immediately after registration, students are urged to go to the University Health Services to take the PPD test from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
   
   
3. Following registration, statements of tuition fees should be collected from the Students' Accounts Section by all students. Payments should be made by certified cheques at the HSBC (Ras Beirut Branch). The deadline for payment of fees is Friday August 25, 2006. Students will not be considered registered unless payment of fees is made on time.
   
   
4. A list of the required books will be posted on the notice board of the DTS-Basic Science Building. Students are expected to make arrangements for the purchase of books from the University Bookstore, Bliss Hall. In the first semester, Anatomy, Histology and Biochemistry books will be required.
