How do I check my virus scan
properties?
- Checking virus scan
properties:
Right click on the virus scan icon located
on your Taskbar.
Click on About.
- Checking Properties:
- "MacAfee virus scan" is the version of
the product.
- "Virus definitions" is the DAT file
version.
- "Created on" is the date when DAT files
are released and the date should not be older
than one week.
- "Scan engine" is simply the engine used
to scan files for viruses.
