Investegate of November 4 reported that Said Darwazah, a director and Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility of Hikma Pharmaceuticals, has undertaken transactions in the Company's Ordinary Shares of 10p each. The paper said that one of the transactions that he made was disposing of 300,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each, representing 0.15 percent of the issued share capital of the Company, at an average price of 778.63 pence per Ordinary Share. The paper said that the primary purpose of this disposal is to fund the establishment of the Samih Darwazah Center for Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at the American University of Beirut. Relief Web of November 4 published the proceedings of a presentation to a conference hosted by the American University of Beirut and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). iBirkshires of November 10 reported that Dr. Hisham Hourani, a board-certified general surgeon, has joined Northern Berkshire General Surgery and the medical staff of North Adams Regional Hospital. Inter Press Service News of November 19 reported on the status of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon where they are denied civil and human rights. AUB professor of sociology Sari Hanafi said, “Some of them [professional syndicates] have by-laws that restrict membership to Lebanese citizens. Others apply a reciprocity clause. Kansas City of November 24 published an article commenting on the Special Tribunal for Lebanon which might link Hizbullah to the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
