The paper gave the example of few parks and green spaces in Beirut, adding that green spaces at university campuses, such as the American University of Beirut, are not open to the public, and so they cannot be considered part of the capital’s green space. Terra Net of November 11 reported that the Appeals Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) ruled in favor of allowing the tribunal to decide whether former General Jamil Sayyed could see evidence concerning his case.
