The Office of Communications has recently created a creative media unit (previously known as the Photography Department) in an effort to better serve the University’s needs.

The University has a continuous need for professional video and photography services. Literally hundreds of photographs are used in a wide variety of communication mediums – including official publications, student recruitment material, newsletters, institutional advertising, and the AUB website.

With the emergence of video playing a key role on the web and in promotional videos, there is a growing need for the University to develop additional capabilities in video production. The creative multimedia unit offers the ability to record select events, outreach activities and faculty-related research. The unit will also actively archive raw video footage for subsequent use in producing DVDs or posting on the AUB website.
