Seminar on Developing Learning Outcomes

Invitation

Evaluation

Recommendations

The Seminar focuses on developing course general instructional objectives (GIO) and specific learning outcomes (SLO). The seminar shows how GIO and SLO align with program goals and University mission.

"When first planning for instruction, teachers typically focus on the selection of content, teaching method, and instructional materials. These are all important elements of instructional planning, but the entire process is more effective if attention is first directed toward instructional objectives" (Gronlund, 1995, P.3) and learning outcomes.
