Behind the impressive numbers and statistics of yearly fundraising are dedicated individuals and committees who give endlessly of their time and effort to ensure the continuous funding of AUB’s Scholarship Program. The AUB Scholarship Fundraising Committee is a leading example of such commitment and diligence. Formed of an elite group of AUB’s prominent and dynamic alumni and friends, the committee raises money for Scholarship Funds by soliciting individuals, banks, financial institutions, companies and other business firms.

In 2002, the committee was invigorated with new and challenging goals, setting ambitious fundraising targets for the coming year. Several subcommittees were formed, each composed of three members, and each with a list of potential donors and friends. By raising various amounts from a number of banks and companies, the subcommittees hope to combine their efforts to meet and even supersede their intended goals. The ladies of the Committee are also active in planning special social functions such as dinners and receptions, benefits of which will go into scholarship funding as well.
