Biostatistician
Associate or Full Professor Position

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking to employ an experienced biostatistician to be the primary faculty member responsible for the statistical aspects of study planning and data analyses for clinical research protocols, at the level of Associate or full Professor of Medicine. Candidates must have a doctoral degree with a strong background in academic activities including teaching and the conduct of clinical research. They must have displayed interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Key responsibilities include providing guidance and support in the completion of statistical sections of protocols, providing direction/leadership to programmers and statisticians, writing and reviewing protocol analysis plans, statistical assistance for publications, and partaking in didactic and hands-on training of students, faculty and staff in statistics for the conduct of clinical research.
