The Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute (NKBCI) and the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology, are seeking candidates for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates must be board-certified and skilled medical oncologists and must have displayed interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine as evidenced by good teaching and research publications in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates must also have experience in clinical trials, and must have the potential for collaborating with international academic research organizations to conduct clinical research in Lebanon.
The newly established NKBCI has a brand new outpatient floor with 6 outpatient clinics, 4 procedure rooms, and a large ambulatory chemotherapy unit. Plans are underway to remodel an entire 36-bed floor for oncology inpatients. Other components of the Institute include a state of the art bone marrow transplantation unit and a fully equipped radiation oncology department. The position carries a dual appointment in the Division of Hematology Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine and at the NKBCI.
