Director of Outcomes Research
Associate or Full Professor Position

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Outcomes Research, at the level of Associate or full Professor of Medicine. Candidates must have a strong background and interest in academic activities including teaching and in the conduct of outcomes research. They must have displayed interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals, and have the potential for collaborating with international academic research organizations to conduct outcomes research in Lebanon. They also must have shown the ability to successfully compete for grant support to conduct outcomes research. Key responsibilities include the development of an outcomes research program at the medical center, of software programs to support databases and registries, and the establishment of quality assurance programs using such databases and registries. They also include training support staff to conduct outcomes research and partaking in didactic and hands on-training of students, faculty and staff, in skills needed for the conduct of outcomes research.
