B.S. in Agribusiness 

The B.S. in Agribusiness is a cross-disciplinary program designed to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of the decision-making processes of the agro-food business and the technical aspects of modern agriculture and food systems. The three-year program includes a semester at AREC, a summer internship and a final year entrepreneurial project. FAFS awards this degree upon the completion of 92 credits in a minimum of five semesters one of which is at AREC. Courses offered cover topics in agriculture, business, marketing, accounting, entrepreneurship, and economics. The program provides an educational foundation that allows students to pursue a wide variety of career opportunities in business management and entrepreneurship that support the supply of agricultural and food products.

B.S. in Agriculture 

The Agriculture program is a multi-disciplinary program that prepares graduates to successfully contribute to the agricultural research, business and educational systems in the region. The four year program leads to the B.S. in Agriculture and the Diploma in Ingenieur Agricole enabling graduates to join the Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architects. FAFS awards this degree upon the completion of 128 credits in a minimum of seven semesters, two of which are at AREC. Course topics include agronomy, soils, irrigation, machinery, animal nutrition, animal physiology, and agricultural management and production.

B.S. in Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management 

The program uses ecologically guided design principles to promote environmental sustainability and to create a sense of place and region. Graduates are encouraged to develop landscape designs that are based on an understanding of local community needs and on the mindful use of natural resources in the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. The four year program leads to the B.S. in Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management and the Diploma of Ingenieur Agricole, enabling students to join the Lebanese Order of Engineers. There are 3 areas of study: Landscape design, landscape horticulture, and environment and sustainable landscape management. FAFS awards this degree upon the completion of 139 credits in a minimum of seven semesters, one of which is at AREC. Course topics include landscape design, horticulture, ecological landscape design, environment and sustainable development.
