FAFS and the Alumni Association are committed to providing alumni with the resources they need to stay competitive within their chosen disciplines, as well as tools to help with career changes.
The importance of FAFS in Lebanon and the region is evident in the achievements of its alumni. Our alumni have gone far beyond the borders of their countries and the Middle East. This is because the nature of the disciplines offered by FAFS has potential global application.
Among our alumni are:
- Mr. Musa Freiji , owner of tanmia, established many poultry companies in Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt,
- Mr Samir Kreidieh, owner of Rabia Multi National Landscape Agriculture company
- Dr. Jose Zaghlul, the President of Earth University in Costa Rica, an institution dedicated to the conversation and sustainable development of the humid tropics
- Dr. Mahmoud Solh: now the director of ICARDA. He previously served as the director of plant production and protection division (AGP) at FAO, Rome.
- Dr Fatima Hashim, FAO regional Officer in Egypt.
- Dr Mounif Nourallah, Director IFAD.
- Mrs. Sawsan Wazzan Jabri, owner of Diet and Nutrition Center in Lebanon and the Arab countries
