In the spring of 2010, AREC will establish an Agribusiness Development Center (ADC). ADC will provide support and services to farmers, agribusiness enterprises, entrepreneurs and students from Lebanon and the Region to foster agricultural business growth and stimulate rural entrepreneurship. ADC will offer incubation services, technical support, assistance, trainings, and agribusiness workshops. ADC will also provide assistance to help secure investments and finances. Through ADC, students will participate in hands-on experience by working with entrepreneurs and executives in a professional setting. ADC will provide fully equipped office space with telecommunications, computers, high-speed wireless Internet connection and office supplies to cater to the needs of established and emerging businesses.
