Come for a day-trip or stay the night. AREC is proud to offer a hospitality and retreat center to those outside the AUB community. The center fully supports and abides by responsible tourism standards, encouraging respect and protection of the environment and its natural resources, and respect of local communities and their culture.
AREC’s secure, welcoming and serene environment make it a great place to relax and explore the hiking trails, archeological sites and wineries of the Beqa'a region. The ancient temples of Baalbek and the attractions of Zahle are only a short drive away. Visitors can also use AREC’s facilities for group functions, business retreats or team building activities. As those who have spent time at AREC know, the gorgeous views of Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon Range make it reason enough to stop by for a visit.
For an affordable price, visitors can spend the night at AREC’s well-equipped, modern guesthouse. For travelers looking for more inexpensive accommodation, the dormitories are also available for rental. In the near future, a newly renovated villa will also be available for the use of visitors. Fresh and healthy meals prepared using fresh produce from the farm are also available at AREC for affordable prices.
