ESDU, in collaboration with the Lebanese Evaluation Association - LebEval, held the former's launching conference at Charles Hostler Auditorium on Thursday the 1st of December 2016. MP Ghassan Mokheiber was present as a keynote speaker where he talked about the subject of evaluation in Lebanon. His speach was followed by a presentation from Judge Elie Maalouf, Judge of the Higher Audit ?Court which talked about evaluating the public institutions. Around 50 persons from different fields of work and NGOs were attending this event that was presented by Mrs. Diana Marrouche Abi Said from ESDU.The Conference was followed by a round table discussion about gender equity in the field of evaluation and sponsored by the UN Women.The journey ended with a cocktail provided by the Food Heritage Foundation where networking happened between people.
LebEval is a social and apolitical association established in 2014 by a group of evaluation professionals working across national and international agencies dedicated to improving the science and practice of evaluation in Lebanon.
