Apply to the 2017-2018 Cohort of the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program

FAFS is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 cohort of the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program.

This program is in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation in Canada and aims to prepare young people to be agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions. The program is open to interested applicants who are academically promising, financially disadvantaged, with leadership skills and a desire to return and give back to their communities.

Applicants must be nationals of Sub-Saharan Africa, nationals of Lebanon, or refugees living in Lebanon (Palestinians, Syrians, or other nationalities).

The program will offer the graduate scholarship recipients: full tuition support for the duration of the two-years of graduate study, a monthly stipend, medical insurance, housing, books and laptop, in addition to travel and flights for students from sub-Saharan Africa. The program can also cover English language courses at AUB for those who do not meet the required English score on TOEFL or IELTS.

Deadline for application:
• Undergraduate: March 24, 2017
• Graduate programs: April 3, 2017
