Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid website 
AUB has a strong financial aid program to assist its many able and qualified students who could not otherwise meet the cost of tuition. We believe that financial considerations should not become barriers to quality education for students who meet our academic criteria. Over 80 percent of students who apply for financial aid at AUB receive such assistance.
 
Tuition Fees at AUB are assessed per-credit based on a maximum of 15 credit hours per semester. Students enrolling for more than 15 credit hours may do so at no additional charge.
AUB has developed several types of financial aid programs to cater to the needs of a broad range of undergraduate and graduate students. These include:

Need Based Grants & Scholarships 

These help qualified full-time undergraduate students to pursue their education at AUB. Grants are based on demonstrated financial need and are used to offset part of tuition costs.     

Application forms are available at the Office of Financial Aid and online.

Application Deadlines for New Students:

  • Academic year 2015-2016: December 19, 2014
  • Spring 2016: TBA
AUB Lebanese Loan Program 
  • A student loan in LBP with a low interest rate of 3% as per Central Bank provisions
  • A student can borrow up to 30% of the tuition fee. 
  • Repayment for up to 10 years following a grace period of one year after graduation.
  • Student must be in good academic standing and receiving a need-based grant from AUB, in order to be considered for the Lebanese Loan.
