1-Research work on "Arabic Manuscripts" at AUB l965-67 with Dr. Najm. 2-Teaching at " German School" l966- l978 - Elementary Arabic Intermediate Modern Arabic, Advanced Readings in Modern Arabic, Composition and Style in Arabic, and General Survey of Classical Arabic Literature. 3- Research and Study in " Freie Universitat Berlin" at the Islam Wissenschaft Institut with Professor Fritz Stepat, l975-77.West Berlin, Germany. 4- Lecturer, Department of Near Eastern Studies, Princeton University, Princeton ,New Jersey l978-79 (Elementary Arabic and Lebanese and Syrian Colloquial Arabic, assisting with Intermediate and Advanced Arabic. 5- Part time Instructor in the Department of Arabic & N.E.L. at the American University of Beirut. (Main Campus); Casual Instructor at the Dept. of Arabic & N.E.L.1984-1988. Oct 2000 by Mu'assasat Abd al-Aziz Saoud al-Babtin. 14- Attended the conference on the Miawiyyat Milad wal Rahil. Amine Nakhle and other, held in Kuwait by Mu'assasat Abdel Aziz Saoud al-Babtin in 2002. 15- Member of Oman Project which is run by the Regional External Program at AUB, I fulfilled this year the following: a- preparation of six placement tests for the National College for Science and Technology, Salalah, Oman. b- correction of 400 tests for the orientation and the first year classes. c- assessment of the orientation & the first year classes. c- preparation of an Arabic book for these two above mentioned classes. d- preparation of a four year Bachelor Curriculum for the Dhofar University (DU) in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. e- an academic visit to the National College for Science and Technology, Salalah, Oman, where I met the Dean of the college, the Associate Dean, and the teacher of the Arabic courses. I attended the classes and interviewed the students to assess their level of Arabic. f- Two academic visits to Dhofar University-Mascat, Oman during the year 2004, to supervise the Arabic instructors teaching and final exams , control the Arabic Entrance Exam for new comers, correct the exams , and classify the students levels.
