The Arabic Placement Test (APT) is NOT OBLIGATORY. It is Only for those who think they are below the linguistic level required in the other courses. Such students may sit for their APT to know their level of proficiency in Arabic. If the test shows that they are weak, they will have to register in ARAB 201A, which trains them in basic grammar and oral and writing skills. Those who do not sit for the test can choose between various courses, namely, ARAB 201B, ARAB 211/212, or any course above ARAB 220.

APT Sessions (optional):

The Arabic Placement Test will take place on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 and Thursday, December 08, 2011 according to the following schedule:

Wednesday           07/12/2011               at                 5:00-5:30 pm                in 212 Nicely

Thursday               08/12/2011               at                  5:00-5:30 pm                in 212 Nicely

Students should bring their I.D. (letter of acceptance in case ID is not issued) and a pen.
