Research Facilities
The Biology Department maintains
3 research laboratories accessible to all graduate students. The labs include major equipment used in Cell and Molecular Biology research such as a fully equipped Cell Culture Facility, ELISA readers, fraction collector, PCR machine, and electrophoresis units in addition to other equipment.
In addition to these open research labs, 7 research labs are annexes to offices of some faculty members and are therefore accessible only to their students.
Two key facilities are available for use by researchers working in the Cell and Molecular Biology field. These include
the Core Laboratory Facility in the Faculty of Medicine and
the Central Research Science Laboratory.
