Research interests
- Host-parasite interactions, in particular the molecular interactions between the mosquito Anopheles gambiae, the major African vector of malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa, and  the Plasmodium parasite.
- Identification of potential larvicidal and repellent activities against Anopheles gambiae larvae and female adults, respectively, in extracts from endogenous Lebanese plants.
- Investigation of insecticide resistance in Culex pipiens at the molecular level.
