Research Labs and Cell Culture Facilities

The Department includes 3 common research laboratories located on the first, second and third floor. These include different research equipment such as deep freezers-LN2-ELISA readers/washers-concentrator-electroporator-V/visible spec-cell harvester/counter-sonic dismembrator-anaerobic chamber-orbital incubator shaker-high speed centrifuges-Gel doc(next year)-Gradient cyclers

The Department also includes a newly established marine laboratory in the basement which houses 11 aerated tanks of fish.

Cell culture rooms

Two main cell culture rooms containing CO2 incubators, laminar flow hoods, inverted microscopes with digital cameras and other related equipment are found on the second and third floor of the Department.
