Summer Arabic Program - Travel and Visas

June 21 - August 9, 2017

Participants are advised to obtain a multiple entry visa to Lebanon that is valid for at least two months from the Lebanese embassy in their country of residence. Visas are also issued at the Lebanese borders and at Beirut airport upon arrival. Such visas are often single entry and are only only valid for one month. It is possible to renew a one-month tourist visa at the offices of Lebanese General Security.

Participants are strongly advised to obtain the appropriate visas for neighboring countries they plan to visit from embassies in their country of residence.

Check this link for contact information of Lebanese Embassies and Consular Missions worldwide.

Please note that passport holders with an Israeli stamp on their passports will be denied entry into Lebanon.
