The "Shifting Borders: America and the Middle East/North Africa" conference will be held on AUB campus, but the opening session and reception on January 11th as well as the dinner on January 13th will be held at the Golden Tulip Serenada Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon.

- Above rates are quoted in US$. Rates are per room per night inclusive of Buffet Breakfast, but subject to 10% Government tax.
- Children up to 10 years old sharing their parent's room are free of charge based on bed & breakfast.

- CASAR will cover up to 5 nights for conference speakers only. All other extras are on Guest Account.
Individuals who will only be attending the conference can also benefit from the above reduced rates. You just have to send an email to casar@aub.edu.lb indicating that you are only attending the CASAR conference at AUB and include the details of your check in and check out dates in the email. Conference speakers will be given priority in terms of room reservation, but if the Golden Tulip Serenada hotel has no more rooms available, we will get back to you with information about alternative hotel reservations.
