Mission Statement

The primary goals of this society include the following :
1. Organize social events to help foster greater cooperation and interaction between chemistry students as well as students in different areas of study.
2. Provide useful information and services for new and continuing chemistry students.
3. Invite guest speakers from other universities and industry who chemistry students would like to hear and meet.
4. Represent chemistry students to the Department of Chemistry and the American University of Beirut.
5. Act as liaison between chemistry students, industry and enhance their engagement in future career opportunities.

What we've been working on:
Last year several events were devised, planned, and hosted by the CSS. This year we hope to have and improve on all the events, but also add a few more. Some of these activities include:

Annual Volumetric Cup Basketball Tournament
Fun-in-the-Sun Student Appreciate BBQ/Games Day
