Welcome to the Chemistry Department!

One of the most important concerns and commitments of the Chemistry Department is to preserve the safety of its members and students. To achieve that purpose, the Chemistry Safety Committee undertakes the following tasks:

• Performing daily safety inspections on all the laboratories (both teaching and research)
• Holding periodic safety training sessions
• Administering safety quizzes and enforcing new safety rules when necessary.

Violations of safety rules and regulations may result in warnings, dismissal from labs, breaking of contracts and other measures.
