Requirements

Arabic

A min. grade of 70 in ARAB 201A or any other upper level course.

Biology

A grade of 70 or above in BIOL 201 and BIOL 202. The completion of CHEM 201, and a cumulative average of 70 or more.

Chemistry

A min. grade of 70 in CHEM 201. A cumulative average of 70 or more in any one of the following three combinations: MATH 201 & MATH 202 or MATH 201 & PHYS 211 or MATH 201 & CHEM 211.

Computer Science

A min. cumulative average of 70 in CMPS 200, 211, 212 and other computer science courses if taken, and a min. grade of 70 in

CMPS 200.

Economics

A cumulative average of 70 or more. A min. grade of 70 in each of ECON 211, ECON 212 and ENGL 203. A min. cumulative average of 70 in MATH 201 & MATH 202.

Education

A min. cumulative average of 70 in ENGL 203 and/or ENGL 204. A min. cumulative average of 70 in EDUC course(s) if taken.

English

A min. grade of 70 in ENGL 203, 204 and any two of the following four introductory courses: ENGL 201, 205, 207 and 227, and              

A min. grade of 70 in any two CVSP courses from the

core-curriculum (201-208)

Geology

A min. grade of 70 in GEOL 201 & GEOL 203.

History & Archaeology

A min. grade of 70 in any two humanities courses excluding communication skills requirements in Arabic and English.

Mathematics

A min. cumulative average of 70 in MATH 201, 211 and other Math courses if taken.

Petroleum Studies

A min. grade of 70 in GEOL 201 and GEOL 203.

Philosophy

A min. grade of 70 in at least one of the following courses: PHIL 201, 210, 211, 213, & 214, and a cumulative average of 70 in any two CVSP courses from the core-curriculum (201-208).

Physics

A cumulative average of 70 in PHYS 210, 210L & 212, and a cumulative average of 70 in MATH 201 & 202.

Political Studies

A min. grade of 70 in PSPA 201 and a passing grade in PSPA 202. A min. grade of 70 in ENGL 203 & 204.

Public Administration

A min. grade of 70 in PSPA 202 and a passing grade in PSPA 201. A min. grade of 70 in ENGL203 & 204.

Psychology

A min. grade of 70 in SBHS 202, ENGL 203 & ENGL 204. SBHS 202 cannot be repeated more than twice.

Sociology-Anthropology

A min. grade of 70 in SBHS 201, ENGL 203 & ENGL 204. SBHS 201 cannot be repeated more than twice.
