Program Learning Outcomes

  By the end of a BS in mathematics, students should be able to:

  • Communicate mathematical concepts orally and in writing.
  • Carry out significant mathematical computations in algebra, analysis, and geometry. 
  • State theorems and give examples where they are used.
  • Develop clear, organized, and rigorous mathematical proofs.
  • Define and give good concrete examples of the mathematical structures like vector space, group, ring, etc..
