The Department of Architecture and Design is home for about 300 students and 50 full and part time faculty members who work together in an open studio environment. The Department has two undergraduate programs: one in architecture leading to the degree of Bachelor of Architecture and one in graphic design leading to the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. The department also offers graduate degrees in Urban Design and in Urban Planning and Policy. The programs, through their curricular structure and course offerings, give students access to the best design education available in the region and one that is competitive with programs worldwide.
