What services does the Counseling Center offer?

Counseling Center: “The Counseling Center offers its services to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at AUB. Students may seek counseling for either minor or major problems… Counseling involves one on one discussions with a counselor who will listen, ask questions, and help explore options about the problems or areas of concern to the person. The aim of this process is to help the person being counseled identify and clarify her/his goals and set objectives to address them.”

What services does the Accessible Education Office offer?

Accessible Education Office: “The Accessible Education Office within the Office of Student Affairs exists to facilitate equal access for students with disabilities to the academic, social, and recreational activities and programs here at AUB. To achieve this goal, the Accessible Education Office (AEO) works in collaboration with students, faculty, and staff to implement services and accommodations that remove barriers to participation in a robust and well-rounded student experience… Upon admittance to AUB, students seeking accommodations are encouraged to contact the AEO and set up an appointment to discuss their needs. Early disclosure to the AEO is most helpful and beneficial to all involved; therefore, students should make this appointment prior to or within the first few weeks of the semester.”
