Registration and Course Capacities
What should I do if I missed my registration time slot or the entire registration period?

You should contact the SFEA Student Services Office if you have missed your time slot for registration.

Should I follow the required course list exactly? Which courses have prerequisites? Which courses can I delay taking?

It is essential to follow the course list. This will help you avoid the risk of being delayed in taking a course because of prerequisites. You cannot take a course without satisfying its prerequisites which are listed in a department’s section of the Catalogue.

What should I do when I want to register for a course in a section that has been closed?

You should contact the SFEA Student Services Office to request an increase in course capacity.

What should I do if I get a test score error while trying to register for a course?

You should first go to the administrative assistant in your department, and if he/she is not able to solve the problem, you should go to the Student Services Office.

Restrictions
Should I go to the Registrar to have restrictions removed?

No, you should go to the SFEA Student Services Office.

Why are there restrictions on courses for majors?

Registration restrictions are put on some courses to give priority to students who need the course to complete the requirements in their major.
