The International Biodiversity Day At AUB (IBDAA) 2010

 

Four CEE undergraduate students enrolled in the “CIVE 351 :Environmental Microbiology” course win the IBDAA award (Research category) this year on Friday, May 21.

The International Biodiversity Day At AUB (IBDAA) event organized by IBSAR is a yearly poster forum that focuses on presenting an opportunity for AUB students to present and share their class projects highlighting the innovative, creative, and leading role of the AUB community in addressing how to conserve, use nature sustainably and raise awareness of biodiversity issues.

The winning project is entitled “Biofuel cells: Current applications and environmental sustainability ” prepared by Marwan Harajli, Ali Makki, Karim Al Jarrah, and Hussein Kassem.
