A symposium on "Transforming Maternity Care in Lebanon" organized by the CCCC In collaboration with the Women's Health Center at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, AUB-MC, The Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (LSOG) and the Ministry of Public Health at Issam Fares Hall, AUB on October 1.. The symposium addressed three main themes: situating maternal health within the existing health system, showing indicators and trends that reflect the status of maternal health and the drop of maternal mortality; describing the various types of pregnancy care practices; addressing the rising number of cesarean section deliveries.
