HPCH Introduces a New Course on Sexuality and Public Health

- Discuss how sexuality issues are evolving in Lebanon and the Region; and how they are linked to public health?
The Department of Health Promotion and Community Health, FHS, is pleased to announce a new undergraduate 2-credit course open to ALL AUB students: Sexuality and Public Health HPCH 202 to be offered starting Spring 2011-12.
This course aims to provide students with an overview of human sexuality and its dimensions within a framework of health and wellness. Through interactive class discussions with the class instructor and guests from active agencies and researchers in the field, students will learn about the interaction between the biological, social, and health aspects of sexuality as well as the discourses on sexuality in with an emphasis on the Arab world.
