MRVP Awards

​Ibrahim and Loulu Durr MRVP Award

​​The Ibrahim and Loulu Durr Endowed MRVP Award was established in May 2015. Proceeds from this award fund will be used to award students enrolled in the MRVP.

The two $1,000 cash Ibrahim and Loulu Durr Endowed MRVP Awards are given annually to two students (one male, one female) enrolled in MRVP who have demonstrated outstanding medical research capabilities, based on the MRVP committee evaluation. Special consideration will be given to students who have shown outstanding research capabilities in the biochemistry field. 



2017 Award
The MRVP Committee is delighted to announce ​that, based on the MRVP committee members vote, the 2017 "Ibrahim and Loulu Durr Endowed MRVP Award" will be granted to Ms. Zahraa Rahal and Mr. Daniel Badin

The MRVP committee would like to thank Zahraa and Daniel for showing outstanding medical research capabilities as well as dedication and passion for research. 

Zahraa and Daniel will be called to participate in the FAS Awards ceremony on May 31st, 2017 to receive their prizes. The committee wishes Zahraa and Daniel the best of luck in their​ future endeavors.


2016 Award
​ The MRVP Committee is thrilled to announce that it has voted to award Mr. Mustapha Jomaa for the 2016 "Ibrahim and Loulu Durr Endowed MRVP Award" for his "Outstanding medical research capabilities". 

He will receive his prize at the FAS Awards ceremony on May 25, 2016.
​Congratulations on a very well deserved award. The committee wishes Mustapha continuous success in his academic journey.​
