Training Sessions

ACPS offers faculty members and staff the opportunity to build, and enhance their computer skills, by offering different face to face training sessions. The sessions are announced to be given every semester at specified dates.

ACPS Staff Support

  • Is offered to groups
  • Includes demonstrations and hands-on practice
  • Is supported by handouts, tutorials and online resources
  • Is designed to be interactive and collaborative
  • The payment form is filled online, and the prices are as follows:
Individuals Groups of 3 and more from the same department
LBP 30,000 person/session LBP 23,000 person/session

Types of Staff Support

  • Scheduled trainings:
    ACPS trainings are usually offered on a semester basis and aim to assist the staff in integrating technology into their teaching. They are held at the ACPS lab in Van Dyck Annex and usually range from 1.5 hours to 2 hours in length.
    Please check the training schedule to select a topic.

Registration and Payment

Once you have chosen the training session you wish to attend, you need to follow the below steps to register.

  • Let the contact person fill this registration form
  • To settle the payment (prior to the session), please follow the below steps
    • Go to this link
    • Log in
    • Select AUB iprocurement
    • In the field next to Main Store enter % and the item number ( To download the item numebrs file, Clik here )
    • Note: Select the appropriate Item number based on the number of people who have registered from your department.
    • The quantity will be your total number of sessions

Material and Evaluation

  • After attending a session, you will be added to a moodle Self-Training course.
    This course will be as your reference guide. It is divided into modules, and each module contains links to specific topics.

  • At the end of each session you will be asked to fill out a training evaluation form. Please take this opportunity to give us your feedback and make suggestions for improvement of our program. If for some reason you do not fill out the evaluation form at the end of the session, we will send you an e-mail with a link for you to follow so that you can fill out the form online.
