Microsoft is now providing AUB with a new activation mechanism
in order for your windows 7 machine got activate you need to join the computer to WIN2K domain, after you join windows will contact our KMS Server (AUBKMS-SRV) to get activated over the network
if for some reason you cannot join to the domain you need to run the following command
- From the command line (as administrator)
- Slmgr.vbs /skms 193.188.130.212
- Slmgr.vbs /ato
Office 2010 activation follows the same technique
to manually activate your office 2010 you need to run the following command
Run the Command Prompt as an Administrator, located in the Start Menu --> All Programs --> Accessories. To run as an Administrator, right-click on the Command Prompt icon and select "Run as Administrator."
Once at the command prompt, change your directory to the Office14 directory:
cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\"
Type the following command and then press Enter to manually tell the PC where to look for the KMS service:
cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:193.188.130.212
After confirmation that the KMS server has been manually entered, type this command and press Return to force activation immediately:
cscript ospp.vbs /act
