In an Exchange program, each student pays tuition at his or her home university, and students exchange places with one another for a semester or a year program. An exchange program is only one possible way of studying abroad. You should also consider all the other options available to AUB students: Where else can I study abroad?
Please note that, with the exceptions of American University and Sciences Po, places at an exchange university are limited to 2-4 AUB students in any one academic year. This means that you must go through a competitive nomination process before you can apply to the University or complete AUB equivalency forms. In addition to receiving a nomination to be an exchange candidate, you must comply with the AUB policies and procedures for study abroad.
Students should be aware that a minumum AUB GPA of 78 (cumulative) applies in order for you to be considered for participation on any of the AUB exchanges listed below. We note that being selected for an exchange is competitive, thus a higher GPA is to your advantage for many of the exchange opportunities listed below.
Download the Fall 2012 Exchange Nomination Request Form. This form must be returned to West Hall Room 320 no later than noon on Friday, March 2nd. Late nomination forms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
