The American University of Beirut (AUB) Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) in partnership with the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) announced the “Learn. Impact. Grow. Program" offered to LLWB members and community starting September 2017. The 14-day program will cover areas such as leadership skills, business strategies, the latest in digital marketing tools and more, conducted by internationally recognized faculty members and experts in their fields.

The program was launched on June 13 at an Iftar dinner held at Batchig restaurant in the presence of AUB faculty and executive education staff, LLWB leadership and female entrepreneurs, businesswomen and social influencers. The courses will offer a unique opportunity for executives and entrepreneurs to enhance their leadership skills, engage with their peers and benefit from leading professionals within an intimate and convenient setup tailored to fit their busy schedule.

“We are glad to partner with LLWB on this special program and help entrepreneurial business owners expand their businesses effectively," said Laith Dajani, Executive Director, Executive Education and Executive MBA at OSB. “The program aims to empower the participants by arming them with the necessary tools to become the great leaders in today's challenging business environment."

After thorough ideas exchanged and brain storming sessions, and as a result of both the strong belief in womanpower and the importance of positive change in the country, AUB and LLWB co-designed the Learn. Impact. Grow. program.

Mrs. Asmahan Zein, President of LLWB, whose vision and mission has been to empower, support and help grow the network of business women in Lebanon, stated that “Since the inception of LLWB, AUB and OSB believed in our mission and supported our programs. We are glad to see this as another opportunity for successful collaboration." Mrs. Zein explains: “the purpose of this program is to equip our executives and business owners with an excellent opportunity to increase their knowledge and better understand their business".

The Learn. Impact. Grow. program's six modules will be delivered over 2-3 days on the weekends of September, October, and November 2017 at the AUB – OSB campus.
