Admission Requirements - MBA 
Criteria for Admission

To be eligible for admission to the MBA program, an applicant must hold a university degree recognized by AUB and meet the English Language Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) of the     University, outlined in the Admissions section of the Graduate Academic Catalogue .

 Admitted applicants will normally have proven

·        Excellent analytical background through an undergraduate average of at least 80 or equivalent in any major and a strong GMAT score

o   The undergraduate degree must be obtained from a university recognized by AUB

o   The higher the GMAT score the stronger the application is

o   Applicants with a GMAT score of less than 570 will not be considered.

·        Strong leadership skills and professional maturity through their past experience and career potential.

o   The higher the number of years of relevant experience the stronger the application is

o   Applicants with less than 2 years of work experience will not be considered (except possibly for outstanding applications e.g. undergraduate record with higher distinction or distinction, and a high GMAT score of at least 650)

·        Applicants could be invited for an individual interview (optional and by invitation at the discretion of the MBA director or/and the OSB Graduate Studies Committee)  

As per AUB's bylaws, the Graduate Studies Committee shall act on admission to the MBA program of all applicants. For additional information on graduate admissions, refer to the Admissions section of the Graduate Academic Catalogue.

The Application Process

To apply for admission to the MBA program, an applicant must submit all of the following to the AUB Admissions Office:

  • An online application 

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • An official transcript for all undergraduate and/or graduate course work

  • A TOEFL score report, if required as per the English Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) of the University

  • A GMAT score report 

  • An application fee

  • A curriculum vitae
