To improve the quality of the University's teaching and research programs and its academic support services through development and implementation, in cooperation with other senior administrative officers, of its academic and budgetary management and planning.

Welcome to the Office of the Provost. The provost is AUB’s chief academic officer and is responsible for setting institutional academic and research priorities that advance the mission of the University. Initiating and supporting diverse activities, the provost seeks input from faculty, students, staff, and alumni, to ensure meaningful engagement in fulfilling strategic goals. Efforts are focused on maintaining excellence in educational programs, scholarship, and research, and on ensuring effective participation of multiple constituencies on collaborative work. The Tenure Design Committee (TDC) is releasing its first draft report  and is seeking faculty input through the upcoming town hall meetings.

Faculty town hall meetings schedule:

  • FEA : Tuesday Oct. 11, 10:30 am- 12:00 noon (College Hall, B1) 
  • FAS: Tuesday Oct. 11, 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm (Bathish Auditorium) 
  • OSB/FAFS: Thursday Oct. 13, 9:30 am- 11:00 am (Maamari Auditorium)
  • FM/FHS/HSON: Thursday Oct. 13, 2:00 pm- 3:30 pm (Hisham Jaroudi Auditorium)
