Penrose Hall is located in the west part of the upper campus close to Bliss Street with its abundance of shops and constant bustle of activity. It offers an panoramic view of the campus and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The ground floor includes the reception desk, lounge for socializing, receiving guests, watching television, and holding various occasional parties.

Penrose Hall has separate computer rooms with computer terminals and internet access. International pay phones, free laundry facilities and vending machines with snacks and soft drinks are installed in the lounge and ground floor. The most remarkable feature of the men's dorms, Penrose Hall in particular, is the recently furnished basement which is equipped with a TV, DVD player, pool table and some board games allowing the residents to socialize and enjoy some entertainment activities in their free time.
