Dear Ambassador Committee,

  I can not stress enough that the Ambassador Program made my summer in Lebanon FANTASTIC. Or, i should say, my ambassador (mirey karavetian) did.

   When i signed up for the program i thought it might just be some silly thing where you meet the person once and have nothing else to say...i felt almost silly signing up for it. But, as it turned out, it was one of the best aspects of my summer and added so much to my time there. as a suggestion, you might find better ways to advertise it (possibly have the individual departments, such as CAMES for me, really encourage students to do it) so that people are not skeptical of it.

  Anyway, Mirey and I connected wonderfully. you did an excellent job at matching us, and i'm sure we'll stay friends for a long time. meeting her, and so many of her friends, and going around the city (and country) with them added so much to my experience. it was the main way that i "got away" from all the other Americans in CAMES and really got to know some of Lebanon. it was a huge comfort to me, and so much fun. thanks so much for all the work you probably did in arranging it!!!
