Program Overview

The AUB Student Ambassador Program fosters greater understanding and appreciation of different cultures through the establishment of personal relationships between AUB international students and current students. International students are matched with an AUB Ambassador and do not live with this person but instead enjoy their friendship and guidance. The Ambassador Program hopes to help students adjust to and understand the campus and community culture during their time at AUB.

Once a student is matched with an Ambassador, they meet at least twice a month. Students and Ambassadors choose the activities they want to do. For example, they may wish to visit museums together or meet for dinner or coffee on campus. During these meetings, participants have an opportunity to talk.
