Check in with the International Student Services, receive your ISOP package & chat over coffee with other new international students.
10:00 – 10:40 Welcome Addresses & Introduction
Get to meet with AUB Administrators from the Office of the President, Dean’s Office of Student Affairs as well as Administrators from the Admission’s and the New York Office.

Get informed on how to find and receive health care in AUB and Lebanon. Acquire healthy habits to maintain good health while studying abroad.

Maximize your study abroad experience by learning skills and strategies to help you adapt and cohabitate with the people in your new host culture.

“Wherever I may lay my hat”; a fun and interactive activity to promote cultural exchange.
12:10 – 12:30 Your Safety Abroad
[ Environmental Health & Risk Management ]
Maintain your safety abroad by learning about local issues that may present safety risks. Get information on emergency contacts and procedures at AUB and in Lebanon.
12:30 – 12:40 Security on Campus

Meet the Chief of the Protection’s Office at AUB to discuss security regulations on campus and in Beirut and Lebanon in general.

Find out about on-campus housing and student life in the AUB Residence Halls and discuss off-campus housing options.
14:30 - 14:50 FAFSA

If you are a U.S. citizen attending AUB, then you may be entitled for a U.S. Federal Stafford Loan to assist you financially in your education. Find out more in this session.
14:50 – 15:00 Meet Your Ambassador
[ International Student Services ]
The Ambassador Program will always be available to any international student seeking information, advice and other resources that may become necessary as an AUB student living in Lebanon. Get to know who your ambassador is.
15:00 – 15:30 Campu s Tour
[ Visitor’s Bureau ]
AUB Visitor’s Bureau will provide a campus tour that includes a presentation of the history of AUB while walking on campus. University guides will provide information on the various buildings and the departments or centers they contain.
